Your Photography Journey, Your Way

Choose how you learn macro photography with our adaptive program structure. Whether you prefer intensive workshops, weekend sessions, or extended mentorship, we've built our curriculum around how you actually learn best.

Three Distinct Learning Paths

Each format delivers the same comprehensive curriculum through different approaches. You're not locked into one method – many students blend formats as their schedules and preferences change.

  • 12 full-day sessions starting August 2025
  • Equipment included during sessions
  • Same cohort throughout program
  • Immediate feedback on technique

Flexible Evening Classes

Two-hour weeknight sessions spread across six months. Designed for working professionals who need consistent but manageable commitment.

  • 24 evening sessions, twice weekly
  • 6:30 PM start time
  • Take-home assignments
  • Online resource library access

One-on-One Mentorship

Completely customized learning with individual sessions scheduled around your availability. Best for people with specific goals or challenging schedules.

  • 16 individual sessions over 8 months

  • Portfolio development focus

Hybrid Learning

Combination of self-paced online modules with monthly in-person practice sessions. Great for people who learn theory well independently but want hands-on guidance.

  • Online theory modules plus 6 practice days
  • Start anytime after July 2025
  • Progress at your own pace
  • Monthly group meetups

Built Around Real Life

We know photography education needs to work with your actual schedule, not against it. That's why we've designed multiple entry points and flexibility options that adapt to how life actually happens.

Switch Between Formats

Started with evening classes but your work schedule changed? Move to weekend intensives or switch to mentorship. We'll credit your progress.

Pause and Resume

Life happens. Take a break for up to six months and rejoin the next available cohort without losing your spot or starting over.

Custom Pacing

Some concepts click immediately, others need more time. We adjust the curriculum flow based on how your group is progressing with each technique.

Your Instructor Match

Different photographers learn from different teaching styles. We match you with instructors based on your experience level, interests, and how you prefer to receive feedback.

Instructor Sage Morrison

Sage Morrison

Lead Macro Instructor

Sage works best with detail-oriented students who want to understand the technical reasoning behind every camera setting. Her background in scientific photography means she excels at explaining the physics of macro work in practical terms.

Learning Style Assessment

We start with a short assessment that identifies whether you learn best through visual examples, hands-on practice, or detailed explanation. This shapes how your instructor presents new concepts.

Equipment Adaptation

Learn with your own camera system or try different setups. We maintain Canon, Nikon, Sony, and Fujifilm macro setups so you can experience different approaches before investing in your own gear.

Progress Check-ins

Monthly one-on-one conversations about what's working and what isn't. These aren't formal evaluations – just chances to adjust the approach based on how you're actually learning.
